We are excited to share a wonderful, community-led initiative! This collaborative homeschooling journey focuses on instilling foundational Islamic knowledge in our young children.
The program is spearheaded by dedicated community member, Tri Hashimi. Inspired by educational models that empower parents as primary educators, Tri has developed a structured yet flexible framework and is inviting other parents to join her in nurturing a love for Islam in our kids from an early age.
Target Audience and Start Date: We invite you to join this activity if you have a child who is approximately 5 years old (Kindergarten) through second grade and are looking for a supportive community to share knowledge and experience.
We are targeting the beginning of November 2025, Insha'Allah, to begin our first lessons. The curriculum is built with the flexibility to adapt the pace and material based on the age and individual ability of each child.
Instruction: Online via Google MeetΒ

Contact: trihashimi@gmail.com, (512) 987-3081
Frequency: 3 times per week
Duration: Approximately 1 hour per session
The core curriculum is thoughtfully adapted from the structured learning materials of TKQ A and B (Islamic Kindergarten levels) in Indonesia. This ensures children receive a comprehensive introduction to key Islamic subjects.

This model emphasizes the parent's role in fostering growth at home. The structured online sessions will serve as core instruction, but the majority of learning and enrichment will occur through homework activities and guided practice facilitated by the parent. Parents joining this initiative commit to this collaborative partnership.
If you are a parent ready to commit to this three-times-a-week schedule and partner with other parents in the Islamic education of our children, please reach out directly to Tri, her email address: trihashimi@gmail.com, and WhatsApp number: (512) 987-3081. Jazakumullahu Khayran for your dedication to your children's Islamic education.
